IUBI member Mikhail Kislyakov reached the final of the All-Russian competition "Leaders of the construction industry"
Mikhail Kislyakov, a member of the Construction Commission of the International Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, was among the 300 finalists of the VI All-Russian Management Competition "Leaders of the Construction Industry". 48,000 specialists from various regions of the Russian Federation took part in the sixth season of the competition.
As part of the competition events, M. V. Kislyakov presented a project aimed at addressing the systemic personnel shortage in the context of the digital transformation of the construction industry. The core of the initiative is to create a network of independent specialised structures integrated into the educational environment of higher education institutions and focused on solving real‑world production tasks for enterprises in the construction sector. The proposed approach makes it possible to establish a sustainable institutional mechanism for training specialists with competencies in information modelling technologies (IMT), automated design, and digital construction management, without requiring additional budget allocations, which is particularly relevant for the business community interested in efficient and economically justified solutions. The project ensures practice‑oriented training of a new generation of professionals capable of implementing technologically complex projects within tight deadlines and to a high standard of quality.

The presented project is aimed at a systemic solution to the problem of the shortage of qualified personnel. I view the competition as an important platform for promoting effective personnel solutions in Russia’s construction sector,” commented Mikhail Kislyakov.
About the Competition
The All‑Russian Managers’ Competition “Leaders of the Construction Industry” is held to identify and support the most promising leaders in the construction sector. Over its five years of existence, the competition has brought together more than 75 000 specialists and has established itself as an effective tool for building the industry’s talent pool. The competition is organised by the All‑Russian Centre for National Construction Policy, with the support of the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, executive authorities of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, as well as industry institutions, associations, and unions.
The on‑site final of the competition will be held from 13 to 16 August 2026 in the city of Saratov and will be timed to coincide with the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Builder’s Day. The final event will bring together leading representatives of the country’s construction industry and will serve as a discussion platform for presenting promising projects, discussing strategic objectives for the development of the construction sector, and developing solutions aimed at improving the efficiency of construction activities in the Russian Federation.
