IUBI Union: strong industries are similar to each other

Ilya Tokarev, Director of the Union IUBI, Alexey Tikhomirov, head of the trade and industrial cluster, and Anton Mukhortikov, head of the Union's representative office in the Sverdlovsk Region, took part in the trip.The objects of the visit are enterprises with fundamentally different specializations: one is engaged in the production of metal structures, the second produces doors and individual furniture. The target markets also differ, but the key principles of the organization of work turned out to be similar.What unites successful productions:Clear organization of processes. Both companies have built a transparent operations management system - each stage of production is regulated in detail.Traceability of operations. A control system has been implemented at all stages of production, which makes it possible to quickly identify and eliminate possible deviations.Respect for employees. Comfortable working conditions have been created, attention is paid to the professional development of staff and motivation.Deep immersion of the owner in the processes. The owners of the enterprises are personally involved in the management, they know the nuances of production and pay attention to the details - from the purchase of raw materials to the final quality control."Such trips provide a unique opportunity not only to get to know colleagues and partners, but also to see the best practices that move the industry forward," says Alexey Tikhomirov, head of the commercial and industrial cluster. "You can purchase modern equipment and machine tools, but you cannot "buy" a systematic approach to production management. The desire to control processes in the smallest detail, the desire for continuous improvement - that's what distinguishes really strong enterprises."The visit to the production facilities has become part of the systematic work of the IUBI Union to study and disseminate best practices in the industrial sector. The acquired knowledge will be used to: form methodological recommendations for the members of the Union; organize training seminars and master classes; exchange experience between the member enterprises of the Union; develop proposals to improve the efficiency of production processes in the industry.The IUBI Union will continue a series of visits to the enterprises of partners and members of the Union in order to identify and replicate the best solutions that contribute to the development of the Russian industry.
