Committee for Regional Development: assistance to the sustainable socio‑economic development of the subjects of the Russian Federation
The Committee for Regional Development was established to promote the sustainable socio‑economic development of the regions of the Russian Federation. Its activities are aimed at creating favorable conditions for the growth of the regional economy, improving the quality of life of the population and strengthening interregional ties.
The objectives of the creation of the Committee
stimulating economic growth in the regions through attracting investment and entrepreneurship development;
creating conditions for improving competitiveness of regional enterprises in domestic and foreign markets;
promotion of innovative technologies;
support for social and cultural initiatives;
formation of effective mechanisms of interaction between regional authorities and the business community;
promotion of promising regional projects at the federal level and attracting the attention of investors and partners to them.

using digital platforms to coordinate projects and share experiences;
monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of implemented initiatives.
